Jumping Liberty Small update This morning, after feeding the horses and doing random barn chores (while waiting for them to digest), I tacked Liberty thinking to do some school work on some elementary dressage tests. Though when I mounted I felt he had a different idea! He was so spicy, fresh, and energetic that I knew I could never get him to focus on dressage! So change of plans! After a quick warmup I set up a basic one stride combination with an oxer at the end. We went over it a few times at warm up size then progressively went up until about 110m! At every jump he had the perfect timing and an energetic kick over the jump! It was splendid! Once our XC course is complete I am planning to bring him out there, I think he’s going to have a lot of fun! After a quick cooldown, needed shower, and earned treats, I brought him to his pasture. When I left I heard him neighing to Raspberry, his pasture mate, maybe he was explaining the exciting ride!
