"I do not hate you- I feel nothing for you now- but do not think that that means I will let you forget." (Not really a ship- Wren did have feelings for her at one point but definitely not anymore :p) She was the closest thing Wren had to a friend back then. She'd often approach Wren in secret- considering how the others didn't like her, and- while Wren unnerved her a bit(mainly due to her lack of emotional reaction to most things and the way she behaved and stuff), Meiru did genuinely care for her, and so Wren got attached. When the murder accusation came around, she really did try and defend Wren, but the others started to sway Meiru into believing Wren really had done it. When they decided to execute Wren, Meiru immediately opted to be the one to do it. Meiru didn't know why she did- maybe it was to prevent Wren from being executed in a more brutal way. She planned to do it while Wren wasn't looking- make it quick. But alas, as she was about to fire the arrow- Wren turned around. Wren remembered that Meiru did it, but she didn't conceptualize it as a betrayal at the time. To her, all there was to it was that Meiru was her killer and that's it. She lost all feeling towards her as well. She learned of revenge mainly from Striker, and realized what Meiru did was something that would normally prompt a revenge of some sort, so Wren enacted her own type of revenge. Not let Meiru forget her. Make sure that she was engraved deep within her memory. She wouldn't kill Meiru- not yet- but she haunted her. She made sure her presence would be felt wherever Meiru went. And the thing that scares Meiru the most is that Wren /doesn't/ hate her.
