Den Island is a subterranean environment located under Palugio's Jungle. Many species from the jungle (such as the Smacke) can be located within this cave system, as it provides many of the same features of Palugio's Jungle. Such as the sunlight being blocked out from the terrain, warm temperatures, and many of the same species relationships since they've come to the caverns at the same time. However, the fire geysers and bioluminescent mushrooms provide the cave with necessary light the species depend on. Since rainfall cannot occur underground, most of the island's water leaks in from Palugio's Jungle above ground. Exploring this island without company is not advised, due to various hazards here (fire geysers, possibly poisonous fungi, and predatory creatures).
