When she broke out, a creature appeared. It was a wyvern, its flesh rotten and torn, part of it's ribcage exposed. It had bat wings, shredded but repaired with spider silk. As it swung out with its claws and screeched, Ghost quickly leapt to the side, unfortunately slamming herself on a jagged rock, tearing her flank. She clenched her jaw and forced herself back up. After all, wouldn't you know? Cats are determined. Cats never give up. If her theory was correct, this wasn't real. The pain wasn't real. It was all a figment of her and her captor's imagination. That's right. It was hers, too. Which meant she wasn't actually injured. And while it still hurt like hell, her determination stood as she summoned all her energy to summon her possible last words, "Be free." And just like that, everything faded to dust around her, and she regained her consciousness.
