I decided to do a multi-update, so here goes, First, I took Loki into my outdoor arena at my second property. Loki is overall actually shaping up to be a great horse. (Albeit a bit too enthusiastic at times.) I just let him run in the arena and later practiced some basic liberty with him. On a calmer note, Spice has actually been off at some in-hand breed shows and is now a Champion in the conformation classes! She really doesn't need the practice, but I decided to do a little pattern in hand with her as she's been at my dressage trainer's place for a little while. (Looking forward to her upcoming rides!) Following that, I decided that Blu needed some more work and, seeing as she has a new saddle, hopped on! Blu was very responsive and stayed in frame very nicely, but needed a bit of help to stop leaning on my inside leg. Finally, I hopped on Vee who is another of my Welshies, She has new tack so I wanted to take it for a spin, and it was super comfy! Vee needs a lot of help being forward so today's result was so nice, we got such a big extended trot! It was a long day, but definitely an enjoyable one!
