lost the moment i lost you i thought i had lost everything because to me you were my whole dang life i felt like an angel who just lost her wings you were the glue that held me together at least that's what i thought so when the relationship fell apart it felt as if i were shot when you left my world i didn't just lose a lover but the boy i thought was my best friend and it took me a while to rediscover that even though you may be gone love never stopped existing although it came in different forms love kept on persisting day by day i was finding treasures even ones i left behind and new ones that when i was with you i could never find i got to make new memories that didn't involve you at all relief that life was growing again new friends i get to call and sometimes it still hurts to see you but i know now it's not meant to be and 'though i may have lost you i finally got back me
