So as most people know, what happened 25 years ago yesterday was one of the most horrible events in American history. I want to give thanks to all the people who helped, firefighters, paramedics, and even ordinary citizens making supply lines to reach Ground Zero in New York. I also want to recognize the heroes on Flight 93 who gave their lives to save so many more. (I meant to post this yesterday, but instead posted today.
The image is of the Survivor tree, a Callary pear tree that survived the attacks on the twin towers. It symbolizes hope and that we can overcome anything. It sits in a plaza in the new World Trade Center among other trees. However, it is the first to bloom in the spring.
