✦ ──────────────── ✦ LEGACIES THE STORY BEGINS ✦ ──────────────── ✦ WELCOME TO LEGACIES' LONG-AWAITED, OFFICIAL OPENING! The wait is finally over. After months of planning, rewriting, rebuilding, and dreaming, the doors to Legacies are officially open. First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who has supported Legacies throughout its journey--whether you've been here since the beginning, watched from afar, helped us build, or simply waited patiently for the day we could finally say these words. And especially to my co-host, Reed, who has worked tirelessly alongside me throughout Legacies' entire journey. I genuinely could not have gotten this far without you. The road to opening has taken... much, much longer than I ever anticipated. There have been rewrites, changes, setbacks, new ideas, old ideas being thrown out, and more than a few moments where I wondered if we'd ever reach this point. But we did. And while there are still several major updates being worked on behind the scenes, we simply couldn't wait any longer to let the story begin. So, after all this time... THE STORY IS OPEN. As of today, Legacies is officially open for roleplay! Claimed kits may now begin their lives within their respective Clans. They may roleplay, train toward apprenticeship, grow older, form relationships, make mistakes, create stories, and eventually leave something behind. This is only the beginning. MAJOR UPDATES ✦ Experience & Knowledge Our experience system is being rebuilt into a more unique, story-focused system designed specifically for Legacies. ✦ Welcome & FAQ The Welcome and FAQ are receiving updates to make getting started easier and to better represent Legacies as it stands today. ✦ Rules Several rules are in the process of being revised, clarified, and expanded. ✦ Fate A new system for handling uncertain and consequential situations is being developed to replace our previous rolling system. ✦ MORE TO COME... Several additional systems and updates are still being worked on and will be introduced as they are completed. ──────────────────────── For now, though? The Clans are waiting. The first pawsteps have been taken. The story has begun. And whatever happens from here... will become part of their legacy. WELCOME TO LEGACIES. ✦ LET THE STORY BEGIN. ✦
Voicing this for Wren!
