Hi, this is my oc! Click the picture of her to see the next picture. “People think being the quiet kid is useless, but i think it’s a talent waiting to shine.” Name: Yui Kogamori Talent: Ultimate Quiet Soul Gender: Female Birthday: October 22 (my bday!) Age: 19 Blood type: B+ (my type!) Hair: Blackish-green (kinda like deku’s hair idk) Eyes: Black Likes: - Ibuki - Nagito - Hot drinks - Sleeping - Listening to music Dislikes: - Nagito - v1olence, d34th, g0r3, etc. - tasks Personality: She’s your average sleepy, quiet kid who is just nonchalant about almost everything, except for certain things that trigger her. Fun facts: she has a creepy side that comes out when you cross a certain line. she can spawn her coffee tumbler whenever she wants like a superpower…woah… She falls asleep at the worst times, sometimes even during trials! The others have to wake her up. Before going to Hope’s Peak for high school, Yui’s old school was full of mean people who often targeted her for her words and her personality, leading her to become a distant, quiet person who spoke in short, simple sentences, hoping not to get judged. She eventually also gained mild depression due to this. (grrrr those cruel ppl when i find you-) She also gained a fear of d34th and the like cuz some of the ppl at her old school would hurt her as well. You can see some scars from that time on her forearms so she keeps a jacket on. She was also led to believe that she had no potential to gain any friends, as most of her old friends had eventually ditched her. She believed all of this was her fault. Most of this changed when she joined Hope’s Peak, though. Ibuki Mioda was her classmate and her first friend, and she tried her best to help Yui be more expressive and open up about her feelings. Yui usually wasn’t sure about that, but eventually they became the best of friends. They grew rlly close and were often seen together. (omg do u ship them) Yui also developed a friendship with Nagito, but it wasn’t as deep and sometimes she found him annoying and kicks his shin LIEK A BOSS and calls him an “idiot” LIEK A BOSS(she sleeps on him sometimes tho…cute…) Yeah I know being quiet isn’t exactly a talent but it makes her more observant and she usually notices tiny details before others do As a Remnant of Despair she just yeets explodey stuff everywhere. She’s not aware of what she's doing cuz she’s brainwashed. In GD she remained as close to Ibuki as usual and hung out with the other girls too sometimes. She still felt distant from the other people in her class, probably cuz she was shy or she still felt different. Ibuki was the person she could rely on though, and she always tried her best to help Yui feel like she belongs. She would always cry a little when someone d1ed, and refused to watch 3x3cut1ons. When Ibuki d1ed, she was even more devastated and unleashed her creepy side at Mikan after uncovering her as the culprit. She then snapped out of it and began to cry again. (“I’m sorry…Ibuki…you were always there for me…when I needed you…but I couldn’t be there for you…when you needed me the most…”) She seemed like she would never forgive Mikan, but after sometime she eventually did. She was still very sad about her loss and wasn’t exactly herself. Nagito tried his best to help her get over Ibuki’s d34th, but obviously hope speeches did NOT help and she just got flipped off at him at first…but she took some time to process what he said and eventually knew he was right. Maybe that loss WAS the beginning of something for her. So instead of sulking over Ibuki’s d34th, she decided to honor her friend for everything she did for her. Yui had always been hiding her face behind her long hair and keeping strong emotions behind a blank face. So she cut her hair short and put her hood down in an attempt to be more open, just like Ibuki tried to help her become. She then thanked Nagito for his help (then kicked him again when he started yapping about hope). She tried her best to cooperate in the trials and made it to the end of the k1ll1ing game, she got kinda upset and teary after discovering what Junko did. She had a mix of anger and sadness after discovering that Nagito had…yk. With a tinge of disappointment in her tone, she called him an “idiot” once more. When she saw Ibuki again, she hugged her tight and cried a little. Ibuki admired her new hair, but Yui thought about growing it back again. Ibuki didn’t mind, as long as Yui was being herself. Nagito greeted Yui with a smile, but before he could start yapping, he got the kick again. Yui happy with friends yippee…!!
