Welcome to VoxTone. ————————————————— ☆ NOTICE ☆ VoxTone is only an audio transformer (but a very strong one)! You will need Mod sprites and a Frequency Chart (FRECs) to make use of its outputs! You can get the program that generates FRECs from my GitHub: https://github.com/PhantomARC/Scratch-Assist/tree/main It should be in the folder called Exports/VoxTone. To import FRECs, generate a file via the app, then import the data into the list called VT.Input. The Stock Mod sprites are located in this project: <TBA> (for now, please use the demo TvT) ————————————————— ☆ LINKS ☆ Introduction/Demo: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1381243906/ ————————————————— ☆ Fun Facts ☆ This project uses Foreach() to optimize performance!
☆ Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) ☆ Q: What is VoxTone? A: VoxTone is a stereo audio transformer. Most music visualizers are based off of loudness in mono. VoxTone takes the concept ten steps further. It supports custom binning (you can gauge frequencies like you would a mixbus), stereo/mono toggles (Left/right channel differences!), sampling methods (average vs. Gaussian), and more. Q: How do I use this? A: I'm not answering that question right now. It's too much of a hassle and just straight up painful to type out. Q: Who is this meant for? A: I designed this with music makers in mind. Hey @-Xaf-, you there? /j The main purpose of this project is to give a means to visualize audio, whether it be a snippet in a game, song, etc. Q: What can you *do* with VoxTone? A: Many, many things. You could make a game that tracks specific instruments from a song - this'll do it for you. Or maybe you want to make a spectrogram to show the frequency densities of your song - VoxTone's got you covered. Or maybe you want to make the next NCS visualizer - yep, this can handle that too. It's a very flexible Swiss army knife of a tool. It's just up to you to make use of it. Q: Is this compatible with LiveMark? A: The base VoxTone sprite is! However, many Mod sprites use pen, which is incompatible with LiveMark. ———————————————— ☆ Changelog ☆ < 1.0 > Release. ———————————————— To my friend, @epicproductions36: You. You started this.
