On 9/11, 2001, in New York City, people were living like it was a regular day until 8:46 a.m. At that time, Flight 11 hit the North Tower, floors 93 to 99, killing 76 passengers and 11 crew members. 17 minutes later, Flight 175 hit the South Tower, floors 77 to 85, killing 51 passengers and 9 crew members. After a while, at 9:59 a.m., the South Tower collapsed, killing more than 800 people. Then, at 10:28 a.m., the North Tower collapsed, killing more than 1,600 people. Then, the FDNY saved the survivors; no more deaths after that. We also can't forget the crash of Flight 77 into the Pentagon, killing 53 passengers and 6 crew members, and the crash of Flight 93, which killed 33 passengers and 7 crew members. stopped the terrorists from reaching their destination and caused less harm to be done that day.
Credit to the 9/11 memorial timeline for getting this information. Praise to the police and firefighters who died trying to save the survivors, and to the Flight 93 passengers for risking their lives to save more people.
