Today marks the 25th anniversary of the attacks of 9/11. For those who don't know, on September 11, 2001, in the United States of America, 4 planes were hijacked. The first flew into the North World Trade Center at 8:46 am. People were confused and scared. At 9:03, a plane flew into the South World Trade Center. Then, at 9:37, 33 minutes later, a plane crashed into the Pentagon (the military headquarters). At 9:59, the South Tower collapsed, and massive clouds of dust covered the sky. At 10:03, 40 passengers and crew members on the 4th plane bravely attempted to take back control, but they hyjackers crashed into a field when they started. The target was originally the Capitol building. Then, at 10:28 am, the North Tower collapsed. Nearly 3,000 people died that day. This includes first responders and firefighters, people who risked their lives to save others. Strangers hugged each other that day. People helped others get to safety. As they say: Never forget❤
