Judges, please read the notes at the bottom of the description! ❖❖❖ SOAKED - A Puzzle Game ❖❖❖ This project was made for @-Mike776- and @Walliplay's puzzle game contest. Here's the (rather long and unnecessary) story: A pirate named Gert found a treasure map on the bottom of his ship. On his way to the island with the treasure, he stopped for food on the coast and met a lighthouse keeper in a tavern.* On his ship again, he discovered that the lighthouse keeper had stolen his map! Enraged, he aimed his cannons at the keeper's lighthouse and completely destroyed its light. Unfortunately, without the lighthouse shining he wrecked his ship on the very island he was sailing to. He immediately began searching for the treasure, using ladders and ropes from his ship to navigate the treacherous shores. * (Moral: Don't go to taverns. Your treasure map will get stolen.) And here's what you actually need to know: Drag the bridges and ladders (far left) onto the grid to connect the platforms and make a path from the white flag to the red flag. The editor: - Press 0 to toggle the editor on and off. - Arrow keys to change the tool. - Press S to get the level code. - Press G (don't ask why) to load a level from its code. - Press L to load Level 1-10. If you make new levels, post your level codes in the comments - I might add them when the contest is over. (I'll give credit.) The credits: - All art and code is by me, @ilovestories. - Music and SFX are from ZapSplat and the Scratch sound library, as usual. For the judges: This is my third attempt at making this game - the first is my game "Treasure Hunt" and the second remains unshared. To fit the contest requirements, I have redone every bit of code and art and made ten new puzzles. (Yes, only ten. I hate making puzzles lol.) I am entering purely for recognition and would like to ask that, if somehow I win (I know it's unlikely), then will the judges please not award me the follows prize? I want people to follow me because they like my games, not because someone else who likes my games tells them to. (If I'm not allowed to ask this, then just kick me out of the competition I guess.
