Name : Yue Ji Age : unknown Status : the Fifth Calamity Meller - Ji Pronouns : they/them (snake form), he/they (post snake form) Yue is the **child of the dragon** and weilder of the Yong-Mun Lantern, driving away evil and lighting the pathway to the exit. The lantern focuses on protecting the user, and as long as it is on, people in it's light will not be affected by The Fog. In Yue's hands, they hold the Yeo-eui-ju, dispelling dark spirits and granting the wish of home. As Yue's sets of skills are focused on shielding only, they need a companion to aid in Fog rescues. Most suitable partner is the Third Calamity Meller - In, Cheon Ryeong In. Hint: genshin male character **My notes** Yue's story is inspired by the chinese/korean zodiacs, and is the representative of the fifth zodiac; the dragon. He was a snake before, something with no purpose, but they had an extraordinary wish which caught the eye of the dragon tending to the sky garden's lotuses. And in the end Yue grew a spine, which made him a dragon instead of a snake The Fog is an anomaly that happens in the human realm where it affects the reality of the radius of it's infection. For instance, if the fog settles at a school, the school's rules will twist into something else and will result in casualties. (Not going into detail abt this bc its scratch) Calamity Mellers are supposed to quell these anomalies and 'clear' them like a game. They usually act in pairs as just one Meller isn't enough to supress a big fog. Yue's pair is the Tiger Meller, cheon ryeong, who specializes in fast action combat. Calamity Mellers weild relics, and Yue's one is the yongmun lantern (dragon themed lantern used on rituals in buddism) and the yeo eui ju which is a dragon's marble from korean/Chinese mythology The 'Ji' part is supposed to be Jin but i didnt like it so i changed it haha Jin means dragon in the 12 Chinese zodiacs, and the In mentioned before means Tiger
