In this project there are 20 sprites that are all constantly executing touch sensing blocks to all of the other sprites. The sprites are draggable and will hide if they touch another sprite. On my computer the FPS rate stays at 30. My computer is eight years old and it's CPU is: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz and I'm running Scratch on Chrome
If you press the space key while clicking on the GF the project will use a different set of costumes. Boxes within boxes will cause the rate to drop to less than 2 frames per second. The "elapsed time" variable is showing the time it takes to process the list of touching blocks for just one sprite script.
