STOP! !!! SHARING YOUR AGE ON YOUR PROFILE!!!!! I keep on seeing this everywhere on Scratch, and I feel like I need to say it, even if my message only reaches a handful of people. It’s basic internet safety, right up there with sharing your name and address and face, because sharing your age/birth year does NOTHING GOOD FOR YOU! It’s something people can use to target, manipulate, and hurt you with if you’re not careful, especially on a social media site like here. I can understand giving out a vague /age range/, maybe, to find people who are similar ages, but there is never a reason you should give out your exact age. This site is public, and anybody can see it. Do not, do not, DO NOT give out your personal information online, no matter what the case! Especially since most users on this site are kids, please practice basic internet safety and stay protected online!!!
