So I originally wrote the full poem (second slide) to go with an older work of mine. But I wanted to see if I could make something new out of it, namely a blackout poem. I created this in a little over an hour. I wanted to invoke the feelings that I felt the full poem captured, while also making something brand new out of it. I hope it worked.
