click the green flag video playback may vary depending on your system (after all this project isn't optimised at all), if it doesn't work, try a toaster instead of a potato, turbowarp may help though apparently there's a scratch design studio so what if scratch had video playback support? you could add video cutscenes to your game! it would be a nightmare to moderate though (not that scratch isn't a nightmare to moderate anyway) but you could also do this ignore the stutter every 6 seconds, the audio is split up in sections of 6 seconds (with the video) to maintain sync this took me 2 days because on the first day it was pretty late and i prioritise good sleep over "haha yes funny project" so in reality it only took an hour or two in total
this is my most popular project yet the conversion process of this video was surprisingly simple my main plan was converting my video to .gif, making a small (probably ~6 blocks) script to start the gif and play audio, but scratch wouldn't let me so i was forced to use a new plan, and that was "convert the gif to 9 sections of 5-10 megs, and call it a day" i realised that my new idea which was "oh i can just use GIMP to split it up" was a horrible idea because GIMP is horrible when it comes to gifs so i just did some splicing in DaVinci Resolve and called it a day 60 / 9 = 6 (rounded down) so 6 seconds per gif my original plan was 9 segments, but it turned out to be 10 due to me rounding down instead of up i now have 10 video files, and i have to manually convert them all (thankfully the actual conversion process is done by p2r3's video converter) i then used the broadcast system to make sure that each sprite knew "ok yes it's time to v i d e o" and a simple script so that every sprite could do their part in the video playback hopefully p2r3 will make this process much simpler c2a :p
