Cut to Scratch cat, a hyperactive, fast-talking news anchor gesturing wildly.] Scratch Cat:(Fast, intense, shouting over dramatic music)We bring you live, breaking coverage of a high-speed pursuit unfolding right now on Interstate 95! Visual: Shows on the tv with speed chase footage with helicopter and police car flashing with lights Freddie: (Incredibly hyped up)Suspect Franke has been leading state troopers on a grueling, multi-county chase for the last four hours! Police have attempted multiple spike strips, but the suspect's vehicle is simply too narrow, dodging them entirely by utilizing the bicycle lane! Visual: On the tv, a police SUV tries to ram the tiny solar car. The solar car easily zips between two traffic cones. The police SUV smashes into a billboard.] Scratch Cat: Authorities are growing desperate, folks. The vehicle has no engine to overheat, and because it is a beautifully sunny day, its battery is currently charging faster than it can deplete! Experts predict this chase could legally continue until sunset, or until the suspect encounters a tunnel! Visual: The camera angle shifts higher, showing an overhead satellite view. A dark, gaping tunnel entrance appears at the top of the TV screen. Freddie: (Screaming over a roaring engine sound)Oh no, Scratch Cat! The sun has just dipped behind a cloud, and Franke is heading straight for the Downtown Tunnel! His solar power is dropping! The battery is at five percent! Visual: On the TV, the tiny solar car loses its speed, putting along at a snail's pace. Forty police cars instantly surround it in a perfect circle, their lights flashing triumphantly. Scratch Cat: (Gasping for breath)They’ve got him! It’s over! The great solar pursuit of 2026 is—wait, what is he doing?! Visual: The roof of Frankie's solar car pops open. Frankie pulls out a giant, standard AA battery, shoves it into the dashboard, and the car instantly rockets forward at Mach 5, leaving a trail of fire and completely blasting past the police circle.] Freddie: (Unbelievably hyped)HE HAD A BACKUP BATTERY! HE'S GONE! FRANKE HAS ESCAPED INTO THE NIGHT! Visual: Cut back to the studio. Scratch Cat stares blankly into the camera for three full seconds.
