I just want to remind everyone that you are not alone, you matter and you can get through this. I don't know what any of you guys's lives are like right now, but if you're struggling I want you to know that there is hope. Even if you don't feel comfortable seeking help there will always be someone you can talk to. That can be any trusted adult, a friend, a family member or even an online help group. You can even talk to me if you want to. You deserve to be heard and understood. Don't ever forget how much you really are loved.
If you are in a crisis, please call or text your local hotline (988 in The United States and Canada or text HOME to 741741). I know how it feels to have thoughts of s*icide. I do admit, I've made mistakes in the past. I thought it was better if I held it all down. I couldn't risk "not being strong". Because of this, my life almost ended. I don't want to have to watch anyone else go through what I did. People suffer silently everyday and no one seems to pay attention to them. I know what it's like to have the fear of being judged. I want to assure you that if you do choose to talk to me there will be no judgement involved. I truly believe that every life is valuable. No one should ever have to feel like they have to end it early. I encourage any of you that feel like this to get help. For me that help was opening up to my best friend. Yes , there were some bumps in the road, but eventually it all worked out. Because of this we formed an even bigger connection and now I've found reasons to live. I do still have those thoughts sometimes, but she's always able to help me. I want this story to inspire you guys to get help, even when it's hard. It truly does help. It's because of that that you're reading this today. If you ever need help just remember this: You are loved and you always will be. You matter and you always will. Don't ever forget that hope is on the way. No matter how long it takes, I promise you it will come one day.
