Yes, I'm talking about multiple theories here... and maybe connecting them a bit. A lot of this is about Delphine and her unnamed friend (who I will refer to as 'Bug') Sola: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1379219820/ Moth: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1334079401/ . . . - “A thousand seasons. How many thousands would they both be here? Imprisoned in their own cells, unable to free the other?” To take right from Mothmoon's project, " Imprisoned in cells can be a literal or metaphorical terminology. " I agree that this is a metaphor of sorts, but I think it is what Delphine has come to refer to her curse (the one given to her by Soul) as. A cell. It keeps her trapped. And from the implications of the SRP, Bug also is immortal. This could refer to their immortality as the curse, but I think it's more than that... though I'm not quite sure /what/. Immortals can die, after all. Later in the SRP, it is said that bringing Bug with her (Delphine) would be playing with fate. What fate are we talking about here? " I wouldn't wish our fates on our worst of enemies. " Her 'fate' and 'curse' are horrors, as Delphine stated. She clearly sees hers as something so awful that she wouldn't wish it on her enemies... but Bug /might/. Are their curses (or 'fates', I suppose) so vastly different? This ties in a theory done by Sola. " Delphine's friend is Kole or a different disguise of Flesh " can be taken directly from their project. I'm more-so focusing on the fact that Sola theorizes Bug to be a god. If Delphine and Bug have the /same/ fate (or so Bug may have told Delphine), clearly a god would deal with a curse as bad as this much better than a regular immortal. Or, perhaps, because he is a god, Bug does not have a curse at all, and is lying to Delphine. This is all still assuming that the curses and fates are intertwined. I do not see why he would do such, if Delphine knows "...his secrets that were kept hidden from the world." However, it's still an interesting idea. To summarize, my theories basically state: - Delphine's 'cell' is a metaphor. - Bug and Delphine have different 'fates' (curses, from what I believe them to be) - Bug may be a god lying to Delphine They're a bit scattered but. its a theory!
