Name: Periwinkle ( goes by Peri ) Tribe: Icewing Appearance: Light indigo with claws, wings, and horns made out of actual ice. Carries a vial of freeze-medicine that keeps her body temperature low so her ice claws, wings, and horns do not melt. Status: Once Royal Royal Director of Structure, exiled by Queen Floe, now a legend in Creativity, her new village. Backstory: ( its a lot ) Periwinkle was the grand-niece of Queen Snowfox, but her father, an animus named Chillblain, cursed her egg so that she would hatch with ice. He felt bad for his dragonet, who would be half like him, so he gave her a mystery power. Periwinkle goes by Peri, and she was born in 3026 A.S., which is 1,968 years before the start of the sandwing war of succession. Peri was a clever dragonet who loved reading books. She was very quiet, and often teased about her ice-anatomy. Peri’s mother is named Skua, who moved away to an arctic island when she found out about Chillblain. Chillblain ran away to be with Skua on the island the day after she left. Peri is her aunt’s favoirte and lives with her. She went on a delegation to the rainforest once, and nearly died if it had not been for the medic on her journey. Flurry ( who is the medic who saved Peri ) is Peri’s BFF. Peri nearly died because the intense heat of the rainforest nearly melted her wings. Peri does not have a lot of friends, but she is Queen Snowfox’s Fifth in line for the throne, instead of Ninth like she sould have been. Peri and her least favorite cousin, Floe, were constantly competing for Snowfox’s favor. One day, Peri had finally found her power, in a sculpture making contest, Peri had just thought of the perfect statue of Queen Snowfox, accompanied by Lady Snowflake, when it just had appeared in front of her. She was immediately appointed as Royal Director of Structure, which was basically the Royal Sculptor. Queen Snowfox suddenly had turned cold towards her, using her as a tool to surprise guests. When Queen Snowfox was killed by Floe in a challenge, Peri found herself exiled from the Ice Kingdom, along with Flurry. Queen Floe tried to give Peri a fair trial, but Peri was too meek to stand up for herself, or Flurry. Peri and Flurry flew to a northern village, hidden from the Ice Kingdom by the set of two peaks. It was called Equality. Peri found out that the village was bland and boring, with no art at all. So Peri decided to fix this. She went to the ruler of the village, Crevasse. Crevasse agreed to let Peri make one sculpture, and what Peri made surprised Crevasse. Peri found her forever friend, Redmint ( who is a butterfly ) in an small tropical area near the edge of the ocean between Pyrrhia and Pantala. Redmint was very, very, very hurt, and Peri could not take her to Flurry. Peri managed to fix Redmint's wing. Redmint loves pestering Crevasse. Redmint died 3 years before Peri did. Crevasse decided to rename the village Creativity, and now Creativity is an center of medicine and art. Periwinkle’s legacy remains in Creativity to this day, and Flurry’s healing techniques shifted the foundation of dragon healing today.
