As of my typing, I'm working on a big puzzle game* in Scratch, and today I made a confetti engine for the game (you're looking at it) Whenever the player completes the level in the game, confetti appears to congratulate them. I decided to put the engine in its own separate project to show it to you guys. "How does it work?" The confetti engine uses the "create clone of myself" block to create a lot of confetti on the screen. The "change color effect" block makes the confetti all colorful. The "change y by" block makes the confetti fall down and the "turn degrees" block makes the confetti turn different directions. *The puzzle game this was used for is out now! Here it is: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1379240147
The confetti engine is 100% by me. "What can I use this for?" You can use it to congratulate the user for completing a level in the game or the game in general or use it in animations whenever the main character accomplishes something awesome. If you would like to use the confetti engine for your project, you can as long as you credit me. #art #all
