Sunsetcourage approached the sunflower covered mound of dirt and placed another mouthful of sunflowers gingerly on top of it. Positioning the flowers so they were all looking towards the now setting sun. Sunset sat down and let out a small sigh as she stared at her daughters grave. Her sprouts. Sometimes Sunsetcourage would entertain herself by thinking about what warrior name Sunflowerpaw would have gotten if she hadn't been taken so soon. The current winner was Sunflowerjoy. Because whenever Sunset thought about her little Sprout. She was reminded of a small bundle of blue feathers, gray fur and endless optimism. She couldn't help the dry smile from reaching across her slightly grayed muzzle. She was getting older. And this constant worry certainly wasn't helping. But at the same time she couldn't stop. "Sometimes I wish you were still around Little Sprout...maybe then your brother wouldn't be so closed off." She mewed quietly as she looked up at the sky. A few shining stars already becoming visible. Sometimes...I wonder if I'd be so gray in the muzzle...oh who am I kidding its you and your siblings of course I would." She let out a snort of amusement looking at the grave once again with fondness. "Rest well my little Sprout and...take care of your nephew...alright?" Sunset asked as she got up and spread her wings once again to fly. She took a deep shaky breath before flying off into the night sky. One day she would reunite with her daughter and brothers. But today wasn't that day.
