"umm... rainkit?" daykit asked one day, while rainkit stretched in the sun, she sat up and shook her pelt. "yes?" she yawned. daykit shifted her paws. "you know how were going to be warriors together...? would it be fine...." she looked as if rainkt was her leader and she was in trouble. "...i become a medicine cat?" she finally squeaked out. rainkit blinked. "of course! im not your mentor!... were always be in the same clan, right?" daykit started at her with relief. "why not!! i love everyone here!" rainkit smiled that daykit didnt answer something else; like 'i wonder what its like to be in that clan....' or 'everyone's boring here.' That night; as rainkit layed awake blinking at the stars, she thought she saw the shape of a cat in the stars. "what...?" she said outload. then within one blink a cat stood in front of her, it had a black pelt with huge white stars on his hind quarters and on her belly. stars twinkled in his pelt as he spoke. "rainkit, beware the suns heart, beware the cloudy path. rain will fall but not to close- and if the heart raises.... the rain will fall but not to close." then rainkkit found herself back in the nursery, but the cat was gone and she could hear daykits snores. at first she was filled with fear- was she meant to become an medicine cat?.... "i can always ask the medicine cat in the room!" she told herself giving her littermate a glance. she then smiled.... not seeing the shadow creeping in. - - - T H E E N D ❤
