_~* Whisper Update *~_ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Update ~ We took another trip down to Will o' Whisp's again today, but this time with Whisper. Since Whispers are most prized Mare at the moment, currently specializing in Eventing, I thought it would be fun to let her give this course a go. We approached the first jump nicely [ unlike Ivory ] and had a smooth jump. The second one was more clean since she had a nice starting jump, but I'm definitely expecting more as we go on. As we approached the 3rd jump, a log followed by water, Whisper started to prepare herself for the watery landing. Thankfully she has been entered in quite the bundle of Eventing shows, and water is so close to being second nature for her. We cleared it, but I cant say the landing was perfectly smooth, got to work on that. We proceeded through the water to the next log jump. She cleared it, and landed quite smoothly this time. I gave her a pat before jumping back to land. As we trotted, back on land, we neared our next obstacle. We cleared it, and headed to our new confusion. It took Whisper a moment to understand what was expected of her, but with the right cues and rider, we made it through just fine! Our next jump was like no other on our ride so far, so Whisper gazed at it for a moment before collecting herself and jumping. The next jump was smaller than the rest, and I could tell Whisper was happy for a small break before continuing on our journey. Although, the next jump confused Whisper. She was almost hesitant, but with my steady composure, she jumped it perfectly. We, yet again, approached a log jump. Whisper cleared it as she felt she was close to the end. [ she's right ] We proudly trotted out of the course and back to the trailer. This was perfect for Whisper <3 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Why are my horse and jumps never the right size to be proportionate T-T
