The Runaway Chapter 6

The Runaway Chapter 6 "I guess I can join I really have nothing else to do" Medusa replied. "Good cause we are at the base" Marie said. Medusa looked around a place that was a mostly green meadow and some brown d34d plants from the winter. In Front of the meadow was a large towering rock not a base. "WOW! this is the best base i've seen in my life" Medusa replied Sarcastically. "The base is in that rock" Marie said walking towards the rock. Medusa followed Marie as she walked to a part of the rock. Medusa didn't see a door unless she was just gona walk through the rock somehow. Marie pushed on a part of the grey rocks probably granite from the looks of it. The rock Marie moved Back as Marie moved it, the rock making a sound as it slid. Soon after Marie finished moving it a hallway stood in front of Medusa. The whole hallway was covered in smooth polished white and black marble. "Wow its beautiful!" Medusa exclaimed. "Many say that" Marie said as she walked. Medusa followed Marie throughout the marble hallways, somehow it was still light even though there was no opening to the outside, instead the light was coming from these glowing yellow rectangles surrounded by a white frame. "There called lights" Marie said almost like she read Medusa's mind. "So how do they make light?" Medusa asked. "Well they were used a lot before the doom, it is powered by Electricity, what lightning is made out of" Marie answered. "How do you get that much Electricity, especially since it only lightnings when it rains?" Medusa asked Marie. "Oh we dont use lightning we use these things called solar panels" Marie replied. Soon after they walked through the marble hallways that felt like a maze they arrived at a room. In that room there was a metal frame holding a long rectangle that was covered by white silk pieces of cloth. 2 smaller one that looked like they were filled with something lay at the top of it. The Walls were fitted with the same marble as the hallways. Medusa had noticed a white thing with a lever that activated the lights when they walked in. "This is gona be your room while your here" Marie said."Now time for a little tour of this place" She added. at least with a tour it would be easy to get around the place. Medusa followed Marie as she stepped out of the room. "This room right here is your room" She said the second she exited her room. Marie started to walk again. Medusa had followed finding out which room was which most of them were empty bedrooms. there were only a few rooms for stuff. "Now you know every room, if you forget I understand" She said before walking off. (for some reason this part didnt save but heres a recap cause its already posted, Medusa fell asleep and had a dream of Carnis opening the portal)
