The messengers are planets chosen upon d34th to assist the universe. They are either chosen by Blue Light or Guiding Light. Messengers do not all have the same role, roles vary. Some messengers double up on roles/have two roles. Roles ___ Reporters - Messengers whose role mainly revolves around observing living planets in Currentlife and then reporting back to one of the Light Twins about the planets/what they are like so that the overlookers and The Light Twins will know which of the 4 afterlives to send them to. Distributor - Responsible for granting planets from a list given by one of the Light Twins abilities of some kind. This can range from magic core to regular powers from the soul essence. Most of the time Distributors only grant to planets just created or having just had a body, not fully-grown planets, however it isn't impossible. Negotiator - Responsible for discussing things with the dead planets, can be about desiring a different afterlife, desiring to be a nonphysical, etc.(Middlelife residents can't talk to negotiators) May also visit planets who have just died to guide them a little and not leave them in the afterlife without a clue about what the heck happened(-u-) Processor - Responsible for officiating that a dead planet become a nonphysical, and is responsible for being the ones to make dead planets into nonphysicals. Processors often work in close cooperation with negotiators and occasionally processors give negotiators second opinions. Imprecators - Responsible for giving nonphysical planets their curses, and on the rare occasion giving living planets from a list curses or blessings, and splitting souls up.(not physically splitting the soul, just splitting a planet into multiple versions of themself, much like Vulcan)(Imprecators are rarely ever evil, they're just doing their job) Guides - Responsible for assisting living planets in small ways, like giving small cues that lead a planet subconsciously in a certain direction, or giving planets that "gut feeling", and other things. They can also make themselves temporarily visible to assist planets struggling with extreme amounts of loneliness/isolation, but this is less common. Guides are a lot like guardian angels. Surprisingly tend to work in close cooperation with imprecators. Tricksters - Responsible for toying with living planets in fun ways to make life more enjoyable/amusing for struggling planets. Much like guides, they can also make themselves temporarily visible. Tricksters also tend to grant planets in pain laughter to make experiences less purely agonizing. Tend to work in close cooperation with Guides and Imprecators. (+ Maybe more) ___ All messengers can visit Currentlife no matter what their role is, and can travel from the afterlives to Currentlife as much as they want with no restrictions. No living planets can see messengers except planets with the natural ability to see them, OR if a messenger requests the a specific planet or multiple planets can see them, but if that happens those planet(s) will only be able to see that specific messenger. If a planet requests to be able to see a messenger if they are aware that someone is a messenger, the same thing happens and they will only be able to see the specific messenger that they request. Messengers can be revived, but most don't end up revived as a lot of the current messengers are either forgotten or just love their jobs too make to want to accept revival. Messengers are chosen depending on if they had the "qualities" of one while living- alongside this planets who d!3d believing they were worthless/had never done anything or helped anyone enough often tend to be given the option upon death of being made into messengers to fulfill that desire to help people. If you try to revive a messenger, it is the messenger's choice on whether or not they actually get revived/whether or not your attempt actually works. Messengers always have angel wings of some sort and often tend to have a unique pattern on the wings, they also have unique haloes that are behind the head and stand upright. The design of these haloes depend either on the role of the messenger or what kind of person they are. Messengers sometimes have trainees whom are newly dead planets that haven't figured out how being a messenger works yet. All messengers can leave small omens behind after visiting Currentlife. Sometimes without even realizing it.
I may have forgotten to mention a few things- If I have I'll just say them- -u- If you couldn't tell, Throne has a doubled up role, being both a reporter and negotiator messenger.
