edit 9.30.26 NEW DEADLINE OCTOBER 20th edit 9.26 should I change this to a 100 follower contest lmao edit 9.20 gulp 80+ followers?? tysm!! <3 Hi!! I'm not sure if I have a big enough audience for an event but might as well celebrate 50+! Thank you everyone who has supported my art on this new account :))) Since I've redesigned most of my other Crane Wives OCs, Copernicus' design just doesn't satisfy me anymore, so I'm hosting this contest :D Click or any key in the project to find the reference sheet, as well as (recent) art examples for prizes! More art examples can be found in previous projects (including old account) or in my Magma ◒ Crow ◓ / @the-flame-wives ! HOW TO ENTER + RULES ---- ~ Please remix this project for your entry to count! ~ Anyone can enter! Also, you don't need to comment or ask to join! ~ Magma people can also enter!! Just DM or tag me (◒ Crow ◓ / @the-flame-wives ) on Magma! ~ Create a new outfit or design for Copernicus!! That's it! :) I'll choose the one(s) I like the most as the winner! ~ Must be your original art / design -- no AI or stealing! ~ If you win, I keep the design; if you don't, you may not use my character, but you can repurpose your design (i.e. for your own ocs) or something else! ~ Deadline -- October 20th 2026 ~ depending on how many people enter, deadline may be extended and extensions can be requested for up to a week PRIZES ---- ~ Winning Design: 2 Rendered fullbodies ~ Honorable Mentions: 1 flat color fullbody ~ I'll most likely choose one winning design, and around 3 honorable mentions, but it depends on how many people enter! ~ If you get a prize but want other arts, you can ask to trade for other things! i.e. 2 rendered fullbodies --> 1 scene; 1 flat color fullbody --> 1 rendered halfbody; etc.! ~ I'll probably draw the prizes in Magma :) ~ I can draw humans, animals, humanoids, anthropomorphic, skykids, etc.! Follow Scratch guidelines when requesting your prize! ~ After results are out, I'll try to aim for prizes to be out at max a month from then! :) Please note that I am busy sometimes and may not have time to fully focus on art! DESIGN NOTES ---- ~ Copernicus is based off the album Foxlore by The Crane Wives! ~ Songs (cranewives): The Garden, Not the Ghost, Ribs, Bonebreaker (unreleased) ~ Songs (other): The Deal by Mitski, Reaver (unreleased) by Yaelokre, The Glowing by Rabbitology ~ Kinda a journalist, but not?? foxlore book in the album cover ~ Symbolism: Fox, Crows, Sunflowers, Sun, (Crown, Lantern, Book) ~ Can be drawn with or without fox features :D ~ You don't need to follow the exact colors or design! Play around! :) i.e. changing hairstyle, adding/changing colors ~ btw I would love if anyone tried to incorporate a warmish green on coper instead of the blue!! (oldish) lore & stuff: https://magma.com/artist/the-flame-wives/posts/6a5eb140b4c4ecca3b3c1b83 edit: please tell me if the prizes arent fitting, i usually have a hard time with them because i always overoffer or underoffer :(
