These are brand new improved ear protection devices made by the UCS that automatically filter out noises that go above a certain decibal range whilst still allowing the user to hear other conversations it does so by listening for noises that go above safe decibal ranges and reducing the volume of said noise whilst keeping the other noises at the safe ranges the same it is essentially more advanced Noise suppression technology
ME Basically makes ears not explode via lowering volume of very loud noises yes this is because of my loudners and to some degree the plane also less ear damage less paying for ear damage
