Why hello my little dumplings. It's ya boy spark/Elliot. summers over and i'm devastated but wtv. A few little birdies (as in like every major social media platform i'm on) have brought my attention to the fact that we are getting a warriors show, or commonly called warrior cats. But for the sake of my fingers i'll just say "warriors". When I heard this news I was instantly interested. I'm a diehard warriors fan and i've grown up reading the books. So like, why wouldn't I be excited about this? Well.... there's a factor that has decreased my overall excitement about this. I've happened to found out Disney will be the one airing the show. As far I've heard it will only be on Disney+ and Disney channel. At first I didn't believe this cause I was like "Wait...but isn't Disney's target audience usually kids?" ... Well, I was wrong. Warriors apparently IS kid friendly if it's gonna be on Disney channel. yes, I know warriors is for kids but the books are targeting middle-grade readers and preteens around 8 to 12. the books contain extremely dark and mature themes. so I think putting it on Disney+ and Disney channel which there's no doubt a lot of kids watch, is not a good idea. and if they end up changing it to be more kid friendly, then it might not be enjoyable for the fandom. of course the show is not just for us fans, but it would be disappointing to not get the canon version we all know, and instead get a goofy remix of it. basically like the FNAF movie. but yeah. my hopes aren't TOO high. and I advise maybe NOT get yours up too high either? not tryna be that guy or whatever but i'm just saying. like there were some scenes in BLUEY Disney requested a change for because they were "too inappropriate" and all that jazz in a bag of chips. I mean i'll still watch the show ofc I want to see it, and I'm still excited, just not about the whole Disney aspect. i'm not saying it's gonna be bad. I'm not saying it's gonna be good. this is just my take on it. if you don't like it, click off. this is just my take on it. and i'm just a boy typing on my school computer. it isn't that serious. I just hope we get to see some canon gayvenpaw and barley well kings, queens, they/thems and things that's it for this ramble i'm Spark and until next time leave me alone/ref
