We have begun the development of Project Arktos. We plan to incorporate high powered lasers with anti ballistic missiles for air defense. Funding has been given to research 500 kw lasers mounted on drones in the stratosphere. These drones constantly patrol our airspace and are meant to target missiles or enemy aircraft. Drones are cycled through for refueling and maintenance. Along with this, we will have 1-5 megawatt ground based lasers. They will be powered by our new hydroelectric dams and wind turbines. They'll target lower altitude aircraft and missiles. They are extremely cost effective compared to conventional anti ballistic missiles. This system is not perfect, so we will utilize traditional anti ballistic missiles (ABMs) on top of it. Our ABMs are designed to completely neutralize anything that makes it through the lasers. We will also begin the construction of missile silos across our nation. This is our end goal, currently we only have prototype lasers and a small fleet of drones. Our economy and resources are limited, so we will do this gradually along with all of our other projects.
