Try to avoid the red lava blocks, don't fall off a cliff and beat Steve to get Scratchy back! Alex is the harder character to play amongst the two. P1 Steve: Click to bite and shoot on a boss or to play the next level, up arrow to go forward, down arrow to go backward, Left/Right to move and space to jump. Characteristic: Well-balanced. Is frail and follows temptations but sometimes moves at high speeds. Can grab 1ups. P2 Alex: 2 to Jump, WS to move layers, AD to move left/right. Characteristic: Sturdy. Moves slow but is sturdy and resists temptations. Will not die if put off a cliff. Cannot grab 1ups, drown or enter the final boss. When Alex bugs, hold the D key to get unstuck. Other controls: Title: Click and hold (or use any key) to speed up. Beginning Story: Click and hold (or use any key) to speed up. Hard Mode: Activate using H. It removes 3ups and makes you frailer. T (developers/remixers only): Resets local logoff data so you aren't giving up. z (Variable only applying to P1) can vary from 20-108. Developer's Best Time in Endless: 309 Seconds - Endless Mode is currently bugged.
You will need the life count maximum to be 50. Midnight Zone is hard, and surprisingly, I won in 4 tries and got 79 (the world record)! You also have very few invincibility frames there, and you are very frail. You take 25 DMG from lava and Gobos. Hard Mode has been reworked... try to win in hard mode! Let me know if you do win!
