ALL OF MY TAKES, I COULD MAKE A WHOLE DIF PROJECT ON! LEMME KNOW IF ANYONE WANTS! 1. The new Disney Channel movies aren't bad... I personally love all of the new Disney Channel movies; however, people my age who grew up on Descendants, Camp Rock, and Zombies are majorly hating on the reboots. I'm not entirely sure why, because they seem almost identical to the originals. It's most likely because of the new castings that there isn't that sense of "nostalgia" anymore. But the hate has gotten to the point where its too much. Kids now are growing up on these movies, and they like them, and maturing is realizing that hating on a movie made for a different generation is ridiculous. I genuinely enjoyed Descendants 5 because I was able to bond with my younger brother as we danced on the couches in our living room and screamed every song. Yes, the plots aren't fantastic, and there are loads of cringy moments, but even if you don't like it, let people enjoy what they enjoy (especially if no harm is done in said movie). I have a hard time telling my friends that I love Camp Rock 3 because I'm worried what they'll think, and that's just not fair. I have the right to like a movie. 2. Jade is pretty privilege at its finest (victorious) Why are we excusing Jade's actions in Victorious for something Tori did in the FIRST EPISODE? Tori definitely shouldn't have kissed Beck, but WHY ARE WE SAYING IT'S OKAY FOR JADE TO TRY AND KILL HER... especially when Tori was a good friend to her so many times, and she proved that especially in the episode where Beck tried to kiss her and she immediately rejected him. She said that it would be a betrayal of Jade, even though Jade never considered them friends. And saying that Tori is a pick-me is so annoying when Beck was obviously the one who did all of the flirting. Calling Jade a diva and the "best character" is such a stretch; she was horrible to Tori and, overall, a mean girl. Why are we praising a character like that? 3. Katseye isn't corny; the fandom is Their concept isn't bad, and they aren't cringy. It's the fan base that is. I feel like KATSEYE would be a super cool thing to listen to, but the fact that eyekons are all really young is what makes people dislike it. Seeing that little kids listen to them makes older people put off, even though their concept is aimed towards adults. This kind of relates to my first take, but I think deciding someone is a cringy person for liking Katseye is stupid. My interests span a wide range, but my friends think I'm weird for liking them. You shouldn't be considered a baby for liking something like this. Also, Katseye shouldn't have as many kid fans as they do, but that's a topic for another day. 4. Liking something after it becomes popular doesn't make you a larper THE MICHAEL MOVIE WAS MADE TO SHOW THE NEW GENERATION MICHAEL JACKSON, PEOPLE SHOULDVE EXPECTED HIS FAN BASE TO SHOOT UP AFTER IT! "I bet you couldn't name a few songs a few years ago..." BRO WHY
5. kylie cantrall is becoming the problem. No explanation needed lowkey, just watch her music videos. She had every right to be upset at first, but now she's pushing it. 6. its ok to have concern on ariana grandes physical appearance, but we should respect it if she said stop. LOOK AT SOME OF THE STUFF SHE'S SAID ("don't comment on my body, do not reply" if I may quote yes, and). if shes asked people to stop, we have to respect it. She's taking some time off to focus on herself, so chill, people. 7. peter parker and jean gray SHOULD NOT BE SHIIPPEPEDD jean gray is a TEENAGER. PETER PARKER IS AN ADULT. plus they are like siblings and trauma buddys. case closed. >< 8. olivia rodrigo hate is so forced like why are we hating on her for wearing a dress other artists wear ALL THE TIME... your the one normalizing bad behavior NOT HER... its truly disgusting, like this girl cannot catch a break.
