Since it's Labor Day, now's a good time to summarize what happened during the first Matchday of Poland 2026: In Group A, Poland gets an early lead by defeating Argentina. Benin and Mexico are tied for second place. In Group B, Brazil gets a head start by beating Tanzania, thus putting them in the lead. Canada and England are tied for second place, just like Mexico and Benin from Group A. In Group C, Ecuador tops the group by beating Ghana. France and South Korea, well... you get the idea with Mexico and Benin and Canada and England. In Group D, Italy and Japan makes their first wins, so they're in the lead. The United States and New Zealand lost, but by one goal: they are tied for third place (hopefully Team USA wins against Team Japan next matchday). In Group E, North Korea and Columbia are tied for first place, while Portugal and Costa Rica are tied for third place. Last but not least... In Group F, China gets the early lead by a GD of +5. Spain comes in second with a GD by +2. Nigeria in third with a GD by -2. New Caledonia is bombing their debut by being last place with a GD of -5.
