This is mainly to emphasize how it was very, even painfully clear that I was going to invade Morocco. Secondly, this was also made to display to fellow nations that this is primarily a war of self defense, as well as one to clamp down on ragebait. Again, this was not meant to slander said person in any personal way at all and will be taken down. I still very much so respect my fellow RPers. ----------------------------------------------------------------- [-] For reference, here is the chain of events in which things happened [-] 1. Morocco asks if he can buy Portugal. "Can I please have Portugal? I'm surrounded by you, France, and Italy and don't have anywhere else to go. I'll pay you 34B Pesetas for it." 2. I (rightfully) clown on him, considering that he would bankrupt his entire economy by buying Portugal. Secondly, why would I let him by the former world power's territory? I have made zero threats so far. "bro causally wants an entire country for an amount of money that would bankrupt his country and make the value of his currency pretty much zero, what do you think im going to say" 3. Morocco states that I'm "not letting him do anything", and proceeds to threaten my holdings in Portugal, as well as daring me to invade him. "YO what is up with you tryna stop me from doing literally anything? Let me take over mainland Portugal in peace, and if you wanna fight, dont attack france for no reason, just attack me at that point." "Look bro, it's just going to be me and my alliance with you if I can't get even a small amount of land from Portugal. I never said 'Oh, could you give me Portugal for free?', i've always asked to pay. Now, I'm just going to invade it myself, so leave me alone." 4. Very obviously, considering that he just dared me to invade him, as well as the fact that I am a very petty man, I continued to invade him. He should also know by now that Portugal is Spanish Territory considering that he asked me to buy Portugal in the first message. Keep this in mind. 5. After invading him, he claims that my attacks were out of the blue, had zero indication, and didn't know that Portugal was Spanish Territory. However, this cannot be the case or else he wouldn't have asked me in the first place to buy Portuguese territory unless he knew I owned it. "WHY ARE YOU INVADING ME?" "we cant be serious rn bro, you didnt even tell me you would invade. Plus, wdym insane ragebait, all i wanted was to invade portugal-" (keep in mind Portugal is Spanish territory, he should know this considering he asked me to buy Portuguese territory, acknowledging that I own the territory) "The map wasn't updated at the time, I didn't see you had Portugal bro. It was still independent the whole time-" (Blatant lie, refer to the first message. He knew damn well I had already taken over, or was in the process of taking over. What did you expect me to do when my territories were threatened, let you continue threatening them?) 6. Review: In short, here is how things went down: Morocco keeps complaining ---> Proceeds to directly threaten my holdings in Portugal, which he 100% knows about. ------> I invade him because he keeps complaining AND threatened me ----> "Why are you invading me?"
