Chapter 4: escape pt 2 30, One, Wisp and 28 walked over to the largest of the vans. One knocked three times and the back door of the van opened slowly, packed inside were 30 other experiments. “Wisp, 28, get comfy. It’s gonna be a long ride,” One stared at the cramped space. “Where am I sitting?” 30 asked, genuinely confused. “You get shotgun since I’m driving, I get to decide who sits next to me,” “HECK YEAH,” 30 almost screamed, rushing to the front seat and he got comfy in the chair. One got buckled into the drivers seat as everyone waited for the drive ahead began. “Everyone ready?” He didn’t even wait. “I don’t care let’s get out of this hellhole,” One pushed the keys in. The whole group was ready to get out of that place. Chapter 5: first sun. As soon as the broke free from the lab site and onto the highway 30 almost immediately asked to pull over. “Why?” One questioned. “Turn over. Now,” 30’s voice was stern but a slight peak of joy could be heard if you were paying attention. “…okay,” One pulled over at the nearest stop. 30 rushed out the car and over to the nearby dam, resting his hands over the wall. He stared at the sun, and as soon as the sun hit him, he glowed a dark blue, his eyes turned a light teal as he watched the sun closely. “Oh…” One came to stand next to him, placing his hands over the edge. “You’ve, never seen the sun before,” One’s voice was quieter. “No. I haven’t,” 30 spoke in a whisper, as if he were to break the sun if he spoke any louder. “I would love if we could stay here and enjoy the sun together, but we have to get back on the road. The highway is about to catch the sunset so you can enjoy it from the van, I’m sorry,” “Okay,” They slowly walked back over to the van, 30 enjoying the sunset from the comfort of his seat. The van was quiet for a while. The most annoying sound then broke the silence. “Wow. So when are we going to be there?” Oh how 30 wished he could rip out Lily’s voice. Lily was what humans called ‘pick me’s’ And the reason 30 hated her so much wasn’t that she had the most agitating voice ever, but that she had the biggest crush on One. 30 groaned loudly. “Oh shut it you, the only reason he’s letting you sit in the front seat if that your traumatised from not being the favourite. Sorry your so annoying they had to stick you in the bottom of the ocean for five whole months,” There was a silence after that. 30 was holding back all of his tears and his want to strangle her. Even One’s grip on the steering wheel tightened enough to almost break it. “That’s not his fault,” Mango put. “Be quiet,” Lily rolled her eyes. “YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH YOU LITTLE PIECE OF-” Sapphire couldn’t finish before the sound of police sirens wailing could be heard. Chapter 6: car ride One tried to keep driving but he spooned stopped, they knew they had no escape. They had no idea what was going to happen to them.
