Explanation: After the chapter: the getaway (haven’t posted yet), they group escape from the lab in a van and head onto the highway 30 immediately asks to pull over. 30 has never seen the sun before and in the suns UV rays he turns dark scaled, even his clothes as the scales have a dark glow to them. His eyes also turn a teal/light blue. 30 loves the sun after this as once before he was sent deep into the ocean where it was freezing cold and he couldn’t see the sun. He was stuck down there for two months for ‘research purposes’ and if he had tried to escape the experiment he would’ve been still stuck down there the same time as the escape, meaning he wouldn’t be out of the lab with the rest of the group.
