Dragonfly: My BEAUTIFUL GURL Hive / Sea WoF OC (full screen pls) WARNING: ART STYLE IMPROVING Dragonfly was born near the edge of the SeaWing territories, where she grew up learning that trust was something that had to be earned. Her unusual HiveWing heritage often made her stand out, and other dragons weren't always sure what to make of her. Instead of allowing herself to be pushed around, Dragonfly learned to turn being underestimated into an advantage. She became observant, calculating, and exceptionally good at reading other dragons. If someone thought she was weaker than them, she'd let them believe it—right up until they realized they'd fallen directly into her trap. As she grew older, Dragonfly began exploring farther and farther from home, collecting odd trinkets such as feathers, shells or rare rocks. Dragonfly possesses a unique combination of HiveWing and SeaWing abilities. She can breathe underwater, while her large wings allow her to fly long distances. Like a HiveWing, she can produce venom in both her teeth and claws, making her bite especially dangerous. Her SeaWing traits give her excellent underwater vision, and heightened senses. However, she's a skilled strategist who would much rather outsmart an opponent than fight them head-on. Despite being capable of swimming, Dragonfly doesn't particularly enjoy it. Her beetle-like wings are not well suited for the water and become heavy and soggy when soaked. This makes it much more difficult for her to propel herself through the water, especially when she has to swim for long periods of time. Because of this, Dragonfly much prefers flying over the ocean rather than actually being in it. Dragonfly has deep blue scales with pale turquoise coloring along her underside, decorated with darker blue patterns and spots. Golden-yellow accents run along her body, while sharp, jagged spines line her back and tail. Her enormous wings have warm reddish-orange membranes that fade into bright yellow, and her long tail ends in a red-orange tip. Dragonfly has genuinely become one of my favorite OCs, and I’m so proud of how her design, colors, and Hive/SeaWing features came together. I had so much fun creating her and figuring out all of her little details, especially her wings and her personality! THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who supports me and my art.
