Today, I took Sugar and Destiny out for a nice walk. It's actually super hot, but still the sky was a little grey, and the trails and grass were muddy, and very wet from recent showers (Hoof Prints weather). Anywayss, I'm very excited to announce the arrival of the newest member of the family, DME Crème Brulée! Her barn name is Sugar (which you've probably figured out by now) and she is just the most adorable thing you'll ever meet. Her dam is Destiny, who did very well on the birthing process, this being her first foal. She took a second to understand exactly what to do, but she took the whole thing very well, and is recovering and happy and healthy. Her sire is my exceptional eventer Roo, otherwise known as DME Kangaroo. Back to the update, I haltered both bebes, and we set off. After all the trails, we stopped by the beach, and the cool breeze was really refreshing, as well as miss Sugar splashing water everywhere! Love these two, so excited to see Sugar grow!
