I think its important to note this trick doesn't behave consistently across devices/browsers, for example: in Firefox it looks beautiful, while in Chrome (Android) it looks jittery and noisy (though I love that look too). Its behaviour depends heavily on the renderer's implementation, and may even break apart in the future
