It's my birthday! I decided to host a DMC to celebrate. Note: My birthday is 10th September. This means that you will draw an art piece or make any sort of craft or animation if you want, and whoever I think has the most EFFORT put into their piece [Not how good your art is- this is for all levels of skill!] will get a big prize from me- and so will a couple runner-ups! The point is to have fun so don't stress about this too much. Due Date: October 31st [I'll start a Halloween event on the 31st- you may ask for extensions if needed!] Results: Probably around November 5th, depending on the amount of entries ------------------------------------------------------------------------ RULES -No AI, bases, or stolen/traced art. Art can be inspired off of other pieces, and animation meme bases can be used [Though a hand-made animation meme would be considered much more effort]. This is for your work only! [Note: Collaborating is okay as long as you have decided on how to split prizes] -No things that shouldn't be on Scratch. Specific characters have different rules [E.g. Spiral can NOT be gender bent while some can], and you can see these inside the project. I'm pretty picky about romance but for approved characters [See project], I'm fine with a small amount. Light violence is alright but keep it mild. -Generally no species-changing, besides human-anthro-feral. -Please don't draw clothing on my ferals. -No guilt-tripping, hate, or being generally annoying. -Please REMIX this project for your entry!! -Most importantly, have fun! FAQ None yet! ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Prizes [Per character] 1st: A custom [Or a free adopt in future events or a fullbody], a follow, two favorites, and a scene of one-two characters of your choosing. They can be fanart, your character, or a gift for someone! 2nd: One favorite, an icon and a shaded halfbody. 3rd: One favorite, an icon and a shaded icon. She's also been so kind and patient with me on payments :D She also has a DMC open I would love to see people joining it!! She is so nice and I really enjoy talking to her, she's a great friend! Also I never answered her questions: School buses are white or green, and they have lots of advertisements on them [They're not yellow.....] [I'm sorry if I get your pronouns wrong, I always struggle with He/they or She/they pronouns!!] He is such a sweet person and his art is just gorgeous!! I would recommend checking out his profile now- also I can't stop laughing about how Stormy is my cats name [Yes, I know it's legally Storm but why call him that when he can be Stormi/Stormy??] Her art super pretty and I won one of her raffles so now I'm always going to be a big fan of her! But seriously it's just so clean and her artstyle is so perfect!! Such pretty and colorful OCs, and the art she made of Piper just has so much expression, it's amazing! Gee I ramble too much ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Finally, to increase your chances of winning: -Multiple characters. You can only win for one but can get honorable mentions in multiple and I will count many characters as more 'effort', and you will have a higher chance of winning! -Shading, especially creative or bold shading! Or like super cool rendering, although I'm not judging too much on that because my GOSH it is really hard to get good at that -Creativity!!! Cool poses, ideas, or even like crafts will make me LOVE your art, don't be afraid to do something out-of-the-ordinary! -Scenes. I cannot draw good backgrounds for the life of me [Well, it depends but still], and I always want to see my characters in a scene! -Just TRY. I'm not looking for amazing art.
