PART 5 - DANDY warning: i speedran writing this part “I…don’t know…” - idk how much time later maybe around 10 mins- Dandy sat on his bed with Pebble in his lap, processing everything that had happened in the past hour. He’d lost his best friend, Astro, and one of the toons Dandy had trusted the most was the killer. Sprout was the one behind it all. Behind the infection. Two friends was a lot to lose in an hour, or at least it was to Dandy. Everything clicked into place—Sprout had been so calm with Bassie, Gourdy, and Bobette, even though they could have killed him easily. And nobody would try looking for a dead toon, but if they were alive (just infected)… Then he realized something that Dandy hadn’t noticed before. If Sprout had started the Inkeye infection, then he must know the cure. Dandy really didn’t like the idea of snooping through someone’s room, but it was what he had to do. Sprout’s room looked innocent at first glance. However, after looking through some drawers (Dandy felt so nosy as this was most likely Sprout’s personal belongings!) he found a bottle of orange substance—and it was labeled “Inkeye Cure”. This surely wasn’t the real deal, was it? If Sprout was smart enough to start an infection, then he would have been prepared. There was only enough to save one toon—but Dandy already knew who he would try and save.
