letting go letting go is never easy i don’t want this season to end but cold weather always have to come before the sun ascends if the sky has to darken before light can peek through then i’ll block your number and delete the photos i’ll let go of you you were just a splash of paint on a plain white canvas but my life’s expanding more god’s adding new colors into my world it’s a masterpiece he adores my story doesn’t have a tragic ending it’s only on chapter one and even if our love is over my life has just begun because rainbows come right after the rain like how flowers take time to bloom and so i’ll throw away the things that remind me of you so my life has a bit more room more room for new people to come into my life more room to meet brand new stars because even though you may have taken up my whole sky it’s time to say au revoir i’m waving goodbye to the pain i once had and setting the person i used to know free letting go is never easy but i know it’s best for me
