Off the train goes into the distance The machinery pounded at a steady pace Wheels zoomed against the tracks The clouds flashed by All phonetics crystal clear Each train car was brightly lit Words and phrases had a meaning Along with gestures or value The train continues to chug along Open your lips and talk loud Know you were never good with words But the phrase you spoke seemed important Now everyone is surrounding you The train races faster and faster Clanking against the tracks Now higher than sonic speed Words become muffled until they are no more Meaning becomes lost within the car The conductor in your head shouts to calm The lights in the car flicker On and off and on and off The fluttering light left you in darkness The faces of concerned ridemates Now hidden The train only Pounds faster And faster Against the tracks Leaving you In a panic You look for Anything that can help Lost in sight and hearing too faster and faster the train pounds faster and faster the conductor shouts emergency emergency leave the train immediately the conductor in your head kickstarts adrenaline blood is pumping faster than the train faster and faster You are headed into a wall Put the breaks on NOW. Doom is imminent Pain is imminent Death is imminent Look at your previous memories Final moments lost within Panic The conductor watches all bodily functions cease The lever is pulled. You are now in the bathroom of the train The water is running and is clear and audible Gentle panting from the one in the mirror You thought it was all going to end there How stupid of you to think that You are still on the pounding train Which slowed with your newfound calm But it won't be for long Clank, clank, clank, clank, clank, clank, clank, clank. Clank, clank, clank, clank. Clank. Clank. Clank. Clank.
