[ Idea - Needs A Better Title ] I was at a friend's house yesterday, and she often plays some Christian worship music in the background while we're hanging out and doing other stuff. One of the songs I heard yesterday had a line that went something like "If you only eat on Sundays, you're going to starve." This line really spoke to me. Something I really struggle with is furthering my own Christian faith outside of church services and youth group on Tuesdays. While in my own church service today, I came up with this idea. Basically, if you're into it, you sign up. Every Sunday, I'll spin a wheel and split everyone up into groups of two for the week. Your task for the week is to share something faith-related with the other person. It can be your favorite Bible verse/chapter/book, a spiritual insight you had, a worship song you like. The other person will share something else with you, something of their own. Then, I'd encourage you to explore what they shared. Discuss that insight with them, read that Bible passage, listen to the song and write down how it made you feel. Then, next Sunday, you'll be paired up with someone else to do the same thing! I'm going to try not to pair people up with the same person twice in a row, but depending on the size of the group, you might get paired with the same person. You don't have to be part of the Prayer Intentions Studio to participate (though I suggest ou check it out), you don't even have to be Christian. If you want to learn more about the Christian faith, please, sign up! Since we all come from different denominations, however, some people might have views that are different from yours. This is valid and okay. If you disagree, please just disagree respectfully.
