If I ever thought the Lingering Storm couldn't come back, I was wrong. They obviously had a grudge, after I ruined their show. Sadly, I didn't notice until it was too late. It had already been a long day. As I sat in the throne room, i was appalled by a strange group of people. They walked in, and they seemed to have that "holier than thou" attitude. Little did I know, my day was about to actually be exciting. as they stepped into the room, I felt something off about them. They were somehow a mix of light, and dark, as if they believed they were doing good, but weren't. The one in the front spoke, "it seems you have some of our property, and we would like it back." Confused, and not remembering the events that happened 5 months ago, I responded with "and what would that be? I don't remember you people, and if this ends up a waste of my time, I'm going to be grumpy." "You don't remember? Five months back, you stole our circus animals, and you DON'T REMEMBER?" Obviously, they were angry. Then, I remembered those events, and something snapped. "LISTEN, YOU BARGE INTO MY THRONE ROOM, ADMIT TO KIDNAPPING MY SISTER, TORTURE INNOCENT CREATURES, DRAIN THEIR POWER, AND SAY I'M THE ONE IN THE WRONG? I AM RAYNE NOVA FIRESPARK, AND I DEMAND THAT YOU EXIT THIS ROOM THIS INSTANT!" Reymond jumped back when I said this, and Lorene came in to see what was going on. "Lorene, please evacuate this sector, before I accidentally destroy it, I don't want to traumatize any more guards if I accidentally destroy the room." Lorene didn't even wait for me to finish speaking, running off to clear the area. Meanwhile, Reymond was annoyed, and her hair floated around her head as she summoned a magic circle. "Stand down, I'm going to deal with it myself." I told her, pulling out my spear. The room crackled with static as my spear glowed an electric blue. "Also, thanks for turning yourself in!" I smirked as I launched a giant lightning bolt from the tip of the spear, making Reymond's hair stand on end, and booming through the room. The flash of light left them stunned, as I approached them though, I noticed. They were faking it. I tried to jump back, but it was too late. One yanked my spear out of my hand, messing up the retraction feature, and causing it to collapse. The other took advantage of my surprise, binding my hands within seconds, while the leader had Reymond trapped in a bubble of magic, floating beside him. "You know, you're kind of predictable, Rayne. You always attempt to overpower your opponent, but if you can't, then you lose. Now tell me, do you wish to let Reymond here belong to the circus, or Lorene?" He was getting on my nerves. "Weird" I thought, "buddy's magical signature should be shrinking by now, but it seems to instead be growing." The little pink dragon darted across the room, pulling my spear off the floor, but getting snatched by one of the guards. "Oh noes." his spots turned a bright orange, and he bit the guard on the arm. I don't know what that meant, but the guard dropped him instantly. "It seems the tiny lizard thinks it can get away! How foolish!" Said the leader. He flung a small net at Buddy, trapping him instantly. "Oh well, we might as well leave with what we have, we can come get the rest later." As they pulled me outside, I was wondering what i was going to do about the situation. If I was going to worry Lorene, I at least wanted to do something that would cheer her up, especially considering the fact that she's my sister. Then they threw me in the dark back of their truck. Looking around, there was a bay griffin, a winged snake, a white tiger, and a weird robot. I didn't understand the need for their robot, but I could use it. My hands glowing green, the robot separated into its many pieces, and reassembled into a small version of Lorene. I made it waddle around the back of the truck, occasionally making snarky comments, and then I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was in a room filled with cages. The room was filled with noise, and it made it impossible to think. I put up a barrier spell, which muffled it, and looked around. I didn't have the robot Lorene that I first made anymore, but there were security cameras here, so I took them all down at the same time, and this time, made the robot life sized, and heavily realistic When I made the bot, the whole room quieted. I turned the spare parts into my own camera, and used illusion magic to hide it, then, I started recording. When a guard came down, I had an awesome plan. I made the robot goose hide in a corner, put a barrier around it, and when they walked by robot Lorene, I made it follow behind them, and say "honk, I'm here! How about a little talk?" When I attempted the plan, I got great results. The guard screamed, and ran straight out the door.
The next guard fainted upon hearing the first word, and the third froze in place. I now had a comedy film! This was sure to cheer her up! Continuing it, I made her eyes glow red upon speaking, and changed the words to "why hello there, would you kindly leave?" This was even more fruitful. The guard who first fell for this turned around, screamed, backed into a wall, triggered a fire extinguisher, ran in circles with it stuck to his uniform, and flew out, leaving a snowy trail of foam behind him. "Okay, that's enough of that" *chuckle* "we need to get out now" I said, hands glowing green yet again as I turned the goose bot a crimson red. It was showtime, and these thugs had a front row seat to chaos. As I heard the thud of the guard's boots, I knew we would be getting put soon. When they opened the door, I had robo goose grab them, and pull them over here, where I stole the keys, went invisible, moved the camera to hover above me, and unlocked the cell. I then stuffed the guard in there, disguised as them, made them look like me, and locked them in there. I then put the robo goose in my pocket dimension, and walked out the door. I sent a small, invisible drone ahead of me to map the place, something I forgot to do last time. When I got the map, I walked back in. The critters already knew who I was, so they didn't care. Standing by the door, I stood there, until the next guard came in. Unfortunately, they were questioning the lack of a robot goose. So I said that it just wasn't here. I then walked out of the room, glad that they hadn't noticed, with my invisible camera hovering over my shoulder. They were completely confused, and I planned to leave them that way. Walking up, I exited, took off the disguise, and flew up, then transforming into my full dragon form. Landing, I let out a great roar, vibrating the ground, and causing the guards to flood out like ants from a disturbed anthill. I opened a portal, dropping them in and sending them to the Dragonlandia dungeons. After eliminating the threat of the guards, I transformed back to normal, and freed the animals, leading them through a portal to Dragonlandia, and removing the illusion i cast on the guard, then sending him to the dungeon as well. Upon getting home, I snuck up on Lorene, and brought her to the palace theater, showing the robo goose. But I wasn't done, I pulled the robo goose out of the pocket dimension, changed it back to be white, and gave control of it to her.
