WARNING: topics on this post include, fatphobia, eating disorders, transphobia, misogyny, homophobia, and racism 1. Fatphobia doesn't help obese people. Calling someone a pig won't make them want to lose weight, it'll most likely make them hate themselves or develop a restrictive eating disorder. 2. Commenting on Ariana Grande's body isn't helpful. Saying she looked better a few years ago won't change anything or make her stop restricting if she actually has an ED (which is possible but I obviously don't know her personally so I can't verify). Insulting her and comparing her to bones also won't help and would also validate her ED (again, IF she has one). 3. Defining womanhood by just periods and pregnancy to try to prove trans women aren't 'real women' is misogynistic. There are cis women who are infertile or born without a uterus. Women also aren't just baby making machines and saying they're only women because they can have kids is reducing them to such. 4. Heterophoria isn't real and even if it was, it's not on the same scale as homophobia. Some random 14 year old fujoshi on the internet saying they think straight ships are boring compared to gay ships doesn't mean straight people are oppressed. 5. Shipping isn't that deep. Just because someone likes a gay ship that you don't like doesn't mean they're bl obsessed and think everything has to be gay. ALSO you don't have to act like that ship is immoral just because you dislike it (side eye at people who comment 'they're so sibling coded!' on obvious ship posts when the characters aren't related in that way) 6. Making a comm for everything that could even slightly be a trend is dumb and unnecessary. 7. The n slur is racist and if you think otherwise you're also racist. 8. *SOME* k-pop stans don't care about anti black racism. I'm genuinely convinced an idol could say they hate black people and *SOME* people would still defend them because "it's not that deep" 9. Someone being racist x amount of time ago doesn't mean they were never racist. [adding onto number 6] "They only said the n word 5 years ago!" they still said it? Some k-pop stans are so quick to try to defend and hide their fave's racism instead of acknowledging it. (also, unless you're black, you have no business 'forgiving' idols for saying the n word , that's like butting into a conversation that doesn't include you and accepting an apology that isn't directed towards you.) 10. The superiority complex *SOME* wotas have towards k-pop stans is so dumb. 11. *SOME* k-pop stans need to stop acting like idols are babies who don't know anything except how to dance sing maybe when they're called out for doing weird things.
