On September 2, 2028, the Government of Irakeh formally approved the temporary use of its territory as a forward staging and deployment area for the operation. The first VFL deployment would consist of approximately 900 personnel, including security, reconnaissance, medical, communications, engineering, drone, intelligence, and logistics elements. Irakeh will serve as the main forward hub for evacuation planning, hostage-recovery preparations, intelligence gathering, medical support, and further deployments connected to the Karakia Embassy Crisis.
