After the U.S.A collapsed, the economy of Michigan went into a severe state of downturn. Without resources from the states pouring into its manufacturing, FDI investment being pulled out due to instability, as well as a decrease in trade, Michigan has had it hard for the past several years. That's where the G.L.U comes in. We request that Michigan peacefully integrate into the G.L.U, by a 75% referendum. If they join, they stand to gain: -Immediate government subsidies under a more moderate socialist system -A measure of political, religious, and economic autonomy similar to how the states functioned under the USA, though with slightly larger federal oversight -And economic stability and a common defense against the powers that be. -(We'll also ban the selling and use of marijauna outside of liscenced medical practices, as the tax revenue is no longer needed and it created more problems that it solved)
